Our program is one-of-a-kind. Our goal is to encourage a love for learning through play.
We are licensed by the State of New Mexico to care for up to 12 children with a 6:1 child/provider ratio.
Additionally, we are enrolled in CYFD's Focus Program. We are required to adhere to stricter standards in order to be a high-quality preschool that meets the physical, social, emotional and educational needs of children. Our goal with Focus is to become a 5-Star Nationally Accredited program.
We are also a certified Eco-Healthy Child Care. The Children's Environmental Health Network partners with child care facilities to help eliminate environmental hazards in our settings. We've demonstrated compliance in 30 different areas including only green cleaning products, non-toxic art supplies, no aerosol sprays and non-toxic pest prevention.
We are in the process of becoming a Certified Nature Explore Classroom. Programs that become certified include diverse, nature-based learning spaces that help children connect with the natural world.
At Tori's Home Preschool, we believe in the idea that children learn best through play. We strive to encourage and promote a love for learning and we do that by providing opportunities for children to learn in the classroom and out in the world.
